The first commitment of an agricultural azienda is to cultivate the land. This is a family farm of long standing.
The care, love, and hard work required to keep sixty hectares productive and unpolluted takes knowledge, some ancient secrets and much hard work. We rotate our crops and have a wide variety of them from potatoes to various kinds of wheat.
Our olive trees produce extremely high quality oil. The crop is handpicked by the family and, by guests, who then often ask to see the oil processed and pressed by the local mill.
A large organic vegetable garden is available to guests of the Podere.
You can collect tomatoes, basil, lettuce, figs, plums, whatever might be delicious for lunch.
